Visit this 1732 Dutch Colonial homestead run by the Fishkill Historical Society. The Van Wyck Homestead was used by the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War as the Officer's Quarters for the Fishkill Supply Depot, a key strategic center visited repeatedly by George Washington.The museum has colonial era artifacts and exhibits about Fishkill's important role in the Revolutionary War, Dutch architecture, and local history. The homestead has its original kitchen with an open hearth.
