Since the town’s beginnings, Milan was a farming and mill town and it has remained rural to this day, with pastoral scenery and idyllic hamlets. Visit Wilcox Memorial Park, one of the county’s premier outdoor venues. Enjoy over 600 acres, two lakes and more than five miles of hiking or cross-county skiing. Popular activities include fishing, swimming, boating (paddle and row boats for rent) bird watching, picnicking, camping (RV and tent campsites) and a disc golf course. The beach area is accessible to people of all abilities due to a beach mat path and specialized floating and sand wheelchairs.
