That’s what McKinney and Doyle has to offer at its Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. From the Lobster Chilaquiles (semi-crunchy corn tortillas, salsa verde, radish, tender lobster meat avocado, poached eggs, chipotle hollandaise and cotija cheese) to the Wagyu beef burger (bruleed Jarlsberg, pickled chayote, avocado crema, grilled country white, consome), there is something for everyone. Any trip to Dutchess County yields a ton of local history to discover. Of course, few settings are as memorable for a Mother's Day brunch than one of the oldest inns in America! The Tavern at the Beekman Arms is hosting a bountiful Mother’s Day buffet with brunch and dinner choices. There will be carving stations, fresh seafood and plenty of vegan and gluten-free options, as well as a kids buffet. The cost is $75 for adults and $29.95 for children. Take Mom to Beacon's beautiful wine bar, Reserva, for live jazz music and an incredible selection of curated wines. Local band Noise Ordinance 149 creates the perfect brunch atmospher from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Two Culinary Institute of America alumni helm the operation, infusing dishes with creativity and elegance. Chef Pedro Souza cooks up Brazilian specialties like pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) with guava confit, yuca coconut cake, a Brazilian chicken pie and more for brunch.

This classic Poughkeepsie favorite is a phenomenal choice for brunch. CIA grad Chef Daniel Crocco's fun take on elevated bar food extends to brunch-time staples. A simple stack of pancakes gets an upgrade with a cinnamon sugar swirl, cream cheese icing, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and a healthy pour of New York State maple syrup. This elegant Italianate venue organizes a Mother’s Day brunch of its own from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be an assortment of chicken, fish and pasta entrees, along with breakfast dishes, carving stations and a kids buffet table, not to mention an expansive dessert table. The Roundhouse in Beacon will serves its all-day menu—which includes steaks, seafood and several varieties of their signature mac and cheese, to name a few tasty options. However, Mother's Day specials sing, like Brioche French Toast Pain Perdu, smoked maple cheddar omelettes and crab eggs benedict. Craving contemporary Italian cuisine? Il Figlio Enoteca in Fishkill presents its standard dinner menu alongside Mother’s Day specials from noon to 6 p.m. Menu favorites include the pappardelle (white ribbon pasta, Tuscan-style duck ragu, herbs, tomato and grana padano cheese) and the branzino (sauteed Mediterranean sea bass, French lentils, herb-roasted cherry tomatoes and Castelvetrano-and-shallot tapenade). Chef Serge Madikians, named the Best Chef in the Hudson Valley two years in a row by Hudson Valley Magazine, has put together a mouthwatering assortment of recipes inspired by his heritage. The dining room will open at 1 p.m. on Mother’s Day at Terrapin in Rhinebeck, and offered will be a prix fixe menu that includes a tapas platter and a choice of more than 10 savory entrees. The entrees include bowtie pasta with sweet sausage, garlic, cream, tomatoes and broccoli rabe, and asiago cheese-crusted chicken breasts with a whole-gran mustard sauce. Regular dining room menus will not be available, although children 12 and younger may order off the regular kids menu. Cost is $49 per person excluding beverages. Red Bistro, Terrapin’s more casual dining option, will also be open on a first come, first served basis, serving regular bistro menus. Red Bistro does not accept reservations.
