Happy National Pizza Day! In honor, our staff is sharing their favorite spots to grab a slice (or pie!) in Dutchess County.

For the best wood fired artisan pizza, Patrick Amedeo delivers at Pizzeria Posto! The menu includes tomato-based classics like Margherita and Marinara but also features creations like the Morandi with grana padano cheese, red onions, pistachios and rosemary.

The delicious wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas definitely makes Lolita’s one of my favorite local spots, plus their homemade pastas pair perfectly with pizza! Their white mushroom pizza and kale salad are some of my family’s favorites, and we love the thin, crispy texture of all of their pies.

If I’m looking for a good ol’ classic slice, this is definitely it! But I can’t let their thin crust square wood fired pizzas go unnoticed, like the Grandma or Malezane - so good!

The hand-tossed brick oven pizza’s from Zeus Brewing Company is my new favorite spot for when my friends and I are craving some pizza. I love the variety of specialty pies that they offer. I’ve only worked my way through a few of them, but currently my favorite is the BBQ pie!
