Mill Street Loft Arts, located at Scenic Hudson's River Center at 8 Long Dock Road at Long Dock Park on Beacon Waterfront, presents "The 2nd Annual Great Hudson River Exhibition" a fine art exhibition focusing on the majestic Hudson River opening on Saturday, May 12th. The show will remain on view through Sunday, June 24th. An Opening Reception, free and open to everyone, takes place in the River Center gallery on Saturday, May 12th from 4 - 6pm. Many of the artists plan to attend. Asher Miller, Curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, served as juror for this prestigious exhibition and also selects the awards and prizes. A special awards ceremony announcing the winners will be held during the opening reception.The Great Hudson River Exhibition showcases truly outstanding work by professional painters, photographers and mixed media artists from throughout the United States. Fifty-five brilliant works of both traditional and contemporary Hudson River themed works are featured. Visitors to the show will enjoy a very diverse collection of both traditional and contemporary works with something for everyone. Gallery hours are Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am - 5:30pm; Thursdays 1pm - 5:30pm; and Saturdays and Sundays 11am - 3pm. Group tours and other viewing times are available by appointment.
