Visiting a Scenic Hudson Park is fun, free, and will have you feeling better both physically and emotionally! There are 28 parks and preserves throughout the Hudson Valley, all wonderful places to connect with the Hudson River and to enjoy the natural beauty and wonders of nature.
Do you need to get the family off the couch, out of the house, and help keep them entertained during February? Scenic Hudson hosts fun events to keep families both busy and amused. On February 14 from 10am-11:30am there's a scenic walk where one can learn about animals and their different mating habits and their strange courtship rituals. This takes place at Madam Brett Park in Beacon.

February 19 from 10am to 1pm there's a challenging four-mile hike to Mt. Beacon’s summit, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Hudson Valley and have a a look at remains of the famous incline railway. The meeting place for this is at Route 9D and Howland Ave., Beacon.
